My Journey: From Corporate Hustle to Finding My Flow

My Journey: From Corporate Hustle to Finding My Flow

Hello! This is Aslı and here is my story.

If you’ve ever felt like you were running a race without a finish line, you’re not alone. For years, my world was defined by the corporate sector—meetings, deadlines, and the constant hum of a high-pressure environment. But eventually, I realized that while I was building a career, I was losing touch with the most important person in the room: myself.

Today, I stand before you as an entrepreneur, a mother, and a lifelong student of movement. My transition wasn't just about changing my job title; it was about rediscovering my mental, physical, and spiritual health.

The Philosophy of "Enough"

As a Virgo, I’ll be the first to admit that perfectionism is my shadow. I built this website from scratch with zero technical knowledge—spending hours and days learning, failing, and trying again. Even now, I look at a page and wonder, "Should this be different?" But I’ve learned that perfectionism is a trap. I’ve had to teach myself that it’s okay to be "good enough," and that the most important thing is to simply begin. This site is a testament to that—a dream built from the ground up, fueled by hard work but tempered with self-compassion.

My Roots and My Why

Life taught me resilience early on. Losing my father when I was young meant I had to grow up fast, staying active and engaged with the world. This shaped me into a multifaceted person—someone who isn't afraid to dive into the deep end.

Now, my world revolves around my small, close-knit family. My husband continues his journey in the corporate world, and our 8-year-old son—who has been a dedicated gymnast for two years—reminds me every day of the joy of pure, functional movement.

My inspiration also comes from the women in my life. I watch my mother age with grace, and I’m constantly sharing the GymForce philosophy with her—not just for fitness, but for longevity and a high quality of life. And recently, I’ve discovered a new kind of joy: becoming an aunt. Loving a child who is part of your soul without the weight of primary responsibility is a unique kind of magic!

What I Believe In

I’m a firm believer in Wellness, Mindfulness, and Longevity. But I don’t believe in "extreme" living. My goal is to shave off the sharp edges of ambition and embrace a "simple, big life."

I’m here to share this journey with you—one that values health over hustle and authenticity over filtered perfection. Thank you for being a part of my story.

Let’s move, grow, and evolve together.
